Me, constantly whispering at my computer screen: but Dorian my boy as we move through this area surrounded by the people who live in this area can you be chill, sensitive, and cultural respectful for ten fucking seconds

Dorian, in the middle of the avvar village: EVERY AVVAR STATUE I SEE IS THE UGLIEST ONE THAT I HAVE SEEN YET

Me, just tired, not even surprised: but Dorian my boy can you be yourself but quiet

That Dorian becomes an ambassador is buckwild considering the sheer amount of elegant tactlessness he extends to literally every culture, country, and individual he encounters

Dorian walking into the Thedas UN like “what up your countries are all rustic, cold, and destroy the flavor of every meal you touch, but on the other hand, my country is decadent, corrupt, and evil, and they kicked me out again. What a shitty continent we share. Could someone please direct me to a spare bedroom, I live here now”

Hello, Stranger

Some caught the mention in the last post, that the scene depicted in the “Orphans In the Night” wasn’t my original choice. So, not to waste an idea: this was what was originally intended – back when the line “Hello, stranger” still had some more weight with the title and within the narration.

Would have indeed been a shame to throw away this already started work. So, taking advantage of it in form of a brief ’re-visitation’ from a different POV.

The ‘actual chapters’ this following snippet is based on:
Part one, “Home Is Where You Are”
Part two, “Orphans In the Night”

And all the rest of the “Honey Mushroom” series listed here.

Months: Where We Met

Based on these narrations:
Part one, “Home Is Where You Are”

Part two, “Orphans In the Night”

Hugh enters the lounge area of the hotel lobby and takes a look around the place, trying to find Paul with his gaze. The lighting is quite too dim to really make out anything. This is where he is supposed to be, right?

Save yourself, don’t look back
Tearing us apart until it’s all gone
The only world I’ve ever known sleeps beneath the waves
But I’m the one who’s drowning without your love
I am lost and I can never go back home

Thanks for the nice tags on my last Sif/Valkyrie drawing! I’m so glad people are enthusiastic for the Marvel fandom’s best new femslash ship.

i wish there wasn’t such a stigma around being proved wrong, bc it’s a part of life, no one can be right all the time. if we didn’t feel as much shame about it i think a lot of things would change a lot faster

we all need to practice saying “I hadn’t thought of it like that” “I hadn’t seen it that way before” “I must have misunderstood the first time I heard about it” “if I had known those facts I wouldn’t have thought like I did”
