– someone made a username for friar laurence with 420 at the end – the same kid who put 69 in romeo’s username like i wouldn’t know what either of those things mean – the girl who added ‘clean’ at the end of all the songs on her juliet playlist like lmao girl i know spotify doesn’t have the clean version – the kid who said romeo and juliet killed each other – the weird dichotomy of kids who put love story on their playlist vs the kids who choose bad blood – the kid who wrote ‘get a room’ as tybalt’s comment on romeo’s couple pic – the kid who said ‘romeo is probably one of those douches who follows a ton of people so they follow him back and then he unfollows all of them’ – the one who legitimately used the word ‘alrighty’ do kids say this in their text messages???? i thought i was the one talking like an elderly person but okay – the one who made romeo’s username ‘montagoose’ – the only kid who acknowledged that posting about your secret relationship on instagram was a bad idea – the girl who wrote that romeo would unironically say ‘#blessed’. she’s right. – the one single solitary girl who wrote mercutio as gay as shakespeare did (she’s also the only one who used mercutio at all which is a tragedy but whatever) – the one who wrote romeo’s insta bio as ‘thus with a kiss i die… LOL RIP ME 😂💀’ – the one who made benvolio’s username benvoliYO
Support workers starting a strike in the 2nd week of July by boycotting Amazon beginning July 8, 2018 until they give in to striker’s demands.
This strike is purposely timed to disrupt Amazon’s Prime Deals event on July 16th, so you can show solidarity by not buying from Amazon during this time.
Also, please don’t think you’re helping the workers by buying more stuff during this time to increase workload–you’re only giving Bezos more cash if you buy off Amazon, and it’s not like HE has to personally process your packages for you.
It sends an even bigger message if you can cancel your Amazon Prime as well.
This is a European strike, so you can help even more if you live in Europe, but it will send a powerful message if people in other countries also boycott Amazon during this time, to say that you will not ignore the mistreatment of workers outside your country.
The Good Place is a remarkably moving piece of media, particularly for today, because it takes the inherently nihilistic viewpoint that humans are the ultimate torture for other humans and turns that completely on it’s head, showing growth and character change in every character with brilliant and subtle writing while at the same time completely reversing what it first posits and suggesting that humans are what drive other humans to become better, and our attitudes are a direct result of our situations in life that we can consciously effect and change. It suggests that growth is a decision, not that we happen upon it. This is important, philosophically and optimistically, especially because it does all this while telling No Exit it is inherently flawed in how it sees humans and is entertaining, staying relevant and popular in today’s fast paced and constantly changing media. Anti-Terrorism Effort, or H.A.T.E. (a subsidiary of the Beyond Corporation) put
NEXTWAVE together to fight Bizarre Weapons of Mass Destruction. When NEXTWAVE
discovers that H.A.T.E. and Beyond Corporation are terrorist cells themselves,
and that the BWMDs were intended to kill them, they are less than pleased. In
fact, they are rather angry. So they make things explode. Lots of things.
